Split the information. The invitation carries the occasion, the date and your names, and the details card carries the address, the gate instruction and the parking. I deliver them as separate files, so you can send the invitation widely and the details card only to guests who have replied. Most of our guests are flying in. What should the details card cover?
Arrival day, dress, and how long the drive from the airport really takes, in that order. Guests travelling this far are deciding on flights and accommodation weeks before they think about the party, so give them the frame early even if the finer details are not settled. I would add the evening temperature drop, because visitors assume Southern California means warm after dark and then stand outside in it. Keep hotel or transport specifics to a list you send separately, so the printed card stays clean.
