This is the piece nobody thinks about until the Monday after, and then needs immediately.
Thank you cards are the most-forgotten item in every event I work on, and the one people are most relieved to have handled. The party is over, there are forty gifts to acknowledge, and the last thing anybody wants to do is start a design project from nothing.
The easy version is matching. If I designed your invitation, the thank you card carries the same palette, type and any illustration forward, and it costs less because the visual work is already done. It arrives as a flat card or a folded card, whichever you prefer.
The standalone version is for people who did not use me for the invitation, or who just want good personal stationery that is not tied to one event. Same process, same delivery, and the file keeps working every time you need to say thank you.
Because you get the file rather than a box, you print what you need when you need it. Nobody ends up with sixty leftover cards in a drawer, and nobody runs out.

Questions people actually ask
Is it cheaper if you designed the invitation?
Yes. A matching thank you card is $95 when it follows a suite I have already designed, because the palette, type and artwork already exist. Standalone starts at $145.
Flat card or folded?
Flat cards are cheaper to print and quicker to write, which matters when there are forty of them. Folded cards feel more formal and give you more room. For a child's birthday I would use flat, for a wedding or a christening I would use folded.
Can I add a photo from the event?
Yes, and it is a nice touch when the card goes to people who were there. Send me the photo once you have it and I will build the layout around it.
