The practical side
Two-language invitations are a normal request here, and that is a layout problem more than a translation one, because Spanish text runs longer than English and a card designed for one will crowd the other. Summer peaks of 100 to 110°F make a midday outdoor event in July genuinely unpleasant, and the valley holds that heat well past six, which is why evening start times are standard here. Winter is the other end of the same problem, with freezes common enough that an outdoor December date needs a real plan for warmth. Fourteen inches of rain a year mostly arrives in a few months, so the safest outdoor stretch runs from about April into early June, then again from late September.

Either works, and the reverse keeps the front of the card clean when the wording is long. What matters more is that both versions are set in the same design rather than one being an afterthought. I build them together for exactly that reason.
How far ahead do quinceañera invitations usually go out here?
The usual form is a save-the-date several months ahead and the invitation itself six to eight weeks before, and with guest lists this size the early notice does real work. Families travelling in need the longer runway, and the padrinos need to be asked well before either. I would rather design the whole suite at once than come back for the invitation later. It keeps the pieces consistent and it costs less than doing it twice.
